Sue Chen

Sue is a well-rounded real estate professional with a background as a lawyer specializing in complex commercial real estate transactions. With broad housing experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Sue believes well-built, well-designed mixed-use multi-residential communities are an indispensable component of vibrant, livable cities. Sue has a Master in Urban Planning from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design with a focus on housing and finance; a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School; and a Bachelor of Social Sciences specializing in political theory from The University of Hong Kong, where she graduated with First Honours and Dean’s List commendations. Sue is on the board of HLMS Developments, the development arm for Houselink & Mainstay Community Housing, Toronto’s largest non-profit supportive housing provider.
